getPKmails is a private, read-only tool for one family's own mailboxes. This policy describes what it does with data from Google accounts.
The tool asks Google for read-only access to Gmail (the scope gmail.readonly). It can read messages, labels and settings. It cannot send, change or delete mail.
It saves a copy of each message and its labels on the owner's computer and in the owner's own encrypted backups. That copy is used only by the family, to read and search its own mail.
Nothing is shared, sold or transferred to anyone. The tool has no server, shows no advertising and collects no analytics. No data from Google accounts is used for any purpose other than keeping that copy.
The tool's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Access can be removed at any time on the Google account's third-party connections page.
